Traço de Arquitecto exhibition at BAGINSKI, GALERIA/ PROJECTOS, proposes an inside look to the creative process of the architects MANUEL AIRES MATEUS (Portugal, 1963) and MARCIO KOGAN (Brazil,1952), through drawings, sketches and models chosen from a selection of projects from their studios. The show reveals a space of intimacy and a reserved universe of the private work and thought of the architect. Within the Triennial of Architecture of Lisbon, this year in its third edition, and making a word play with the Triennial title Close, Closer, comes up the attempt to show the intimate space of the designing process. The curatorial concept through the exposition explores drawing as a personal signature, an expression of the thinking act but also establishes a discussion between private and public space. The private house is for these two architects an emblematic expression of their practice.
Drawings that
... tell stories, drawings that reveal study and thought of the design process, models built as a tridimensional drawing.
In an exhibition that focus on thinking while drawing and drawing to think.
