Álvaro Urbano (Madrid, 1983). Después de graduarse de la Escuela de Arquitectura de Madrid, completó sus estudios en el Institut für Raumexperimente (UdK) en Berlín. Tras vivir en Nueva York, en la actualidad reside en Berlín. Su obra en la que muestra un gran interés en la arquitectura y la ficción se ha expuesto en Berlin, Nueva York, Los Angeles y Reikiavik, entre otras ciudades, en exposiciones individuales y grupales, incluyendo Kölnischer Kunstverein, Colonia (2016); Bundeskunsthalle Bonn (2015); Neue Nationalgalerie, Berlín (2015); y Pavilion Social Kunstverein, Lucca (2014).
