Barbara Cueto is a Spanish curator based in Berlin. She uses an expanded curatorial approach, focusing on the social, political and ecological implications of technologies in contemporary society. Currently, she is working on the book “Authenticity? Observations and artistic practices for the post-digital era”; and the research project “Atlas for Uncertain Futures” to be develop at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Seoul, Tokyo Wondersite in Japan, and Rupert in Vilnius, Lithuania. Recently, she was the co-curator of the new media festival Impakt 2016 in Utrecht; and co-curator of Currents in Marres in Maastricht, an exhibition with a selection of recent graduates from Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. She was the curatorial fellow of Bétonsalon - Center for Art and Research in Paris, where she developed the discursive project Dark Series.
