Magda Delgado (Lisboa, 1980). Vive e actualmente no Luxemburgo, depois de viver um ano no Condado de Wiltshire (Inglaterra) e quatro anos na Alemanha (na província de Baden-Württemberg). Trabalha entre Lisboa e o Luxemburgo. Em 2012 finalizou o Mestrado em Pintura (FBAUL). In an aesthetic informed by the medieval imagery of the divine punishment, inevitably associated with the current world political tensions, Magda Delgado's work alternates between objects of worship as "Memento Mori" (*) and the aesthetic comfort of the image - "Beautiful as Consolation“ - as a secular refuge of Mankind in face of its finitude and the uncertainty of the future of its species.
