Descripción de la Exposición

Artistas: Alberto Korda, Raúl Corrales, Burt Glinn, Elliott Erwitt... Join us for the opening reception of ¡Cuba, Cuba! 65 Years of Photography at the Southampton Art Center. This important exhibition has more than 100 color and black-and-white photographs made from the 1950s to the present, featuring work by over 30 Cuban photographers including icons Alberto Korda, Raúl Corrales, and Marucha (María Eugenia Haya), and American masters such as Hamptonites Burt Glinn and Elliott Erwitt. The opening reception will include Cuban-inspired food and cocktails and live music from Jazz at Lincoln Center. Many of the Cuban and American photographers whose work appears in the exhibition will be present. This show is organized by ICP and is sponsored by Renee Harbers Liddell and Christopher Liddell. It is curated by Cuban art historian and professor Iliana Cepero and ICP Curator Pauline Vermare.
