Fourteen Spaniards artists have been invited to show their work at the Katara Cultural Village in Doha. Organized by Art and Culture Without Borders Foundation with a collaboration of the cultural authorities of the State of Qatar and the Embassy of Spain in Qatar. The Exhibition opens on January 20, 2020 at the Katara Cultural Village, Doha. The project is a collective exhibition of Spanish artists with the aim of making known to art lovers and collectors in the State of Qatar. Each of the artists will exhibit five pieces of their work. The exhibition and sale will go on for ten days. Works not sold may remain in a Doha gallery for later sale. As Honorary President of the Art and Culture Foundation, Princess Beatrice of Orleans, will be present at the opening, accompanied by David Bardía, Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti, general director of Katara Cultural Village, Charles Markeaton-Mundy, Goodwill Ambassador of ... the Foundation and the Hon. Mrs. Belén Alfaro, ambassador of Spain in Qatar. Qatar Airways, Modrian Doha will be sponsoring the event. The Artists: Kiko Camacho, Isabel Valdecasas, Tomás Baleztena, Romy Querol, Maria Teresa Ibañéz, Encarnación Hitos, Adela Castillo, La Chunga, Blanca Cuesta, José Gabaldón, Aixa Portero, Viky García, Maria Acuyo, Genoveva Hita. The Katara Cultural Village Foundation is an exceptional project of hope for human interactions through art and cultural exchange, made possible thanks to the inspired vision and wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Father Emir of the State of Qatar keeping pace with the emerging global culture that emphasizes the importance of diversity in human development. Katara Cultural Village is the largest and multi-dimensional cultural project and is a place where people come together to experience of cultures of the world. Beautiful theaters, concert halls, exhibition galleries and state-of-the-art, Katara Cultural Village aims to become a world leader in cultural events. In line with the objectives of the National Vision of Qatar 2030, Katara serves as a guardian of the heritage and traditions of Qatar and strives to raise awareness of the important of each culture and civilization such as international, regional and local festivals through workshop shows and exhibitions.
