INTER_VALLUM
Un INTERVALO es una diferencia de frecuencia, un lapso de tiempo-espacio, una diversidad de significado cuando dos enfoques describen un análogo.
Tres autores que albergan el intervalo de la historia, de la esencia de los clásicos trasladada al presente, digerida, reinterpretada y reconstruida: María del Carmen Díez, Enrique González y Marcos Carrasco.
Artistas que tienen como nexo común presentarnos obras que beben de los clásicos, se tamizan a través de sus universos creativos y dialogan con el público por medio de la figura humana.
Ese tránsito entre los maestros y los autores del S XXI nos hizo plantearnos el concepto de INTER_VALLUM, intervalo que refleja la diversidad de significado de narraciones con la misma esencia, un espacio o distancia que habita de un enclave a otro, de un tiempo a otro, entre fenómenos físicos, orgánicos, humanos…
María del Carmen Díez...plantea sus propuestas tomando como punto de partida un imaginario clásico de los siglos XV y XVI, con el buril como herramienta desmonta el uso de lo femenino en el lenguaje del arte incidiendo en arquetipos impuestos a la mujer. En su obra aborda el planteamiento estereotipado y dañino que se repite a lo largo de la historia donde se mantiene una posición despectiva arquetípica.
Enrique González inicia su carrera en la disciplina de la obra gráfica, investiga y discurre por varias corrientes explorando diversos campos del arte, aprendizaje que enriquece con su faceta de lector compulsivo; circunstancias que irán contribuyendo a focalizar su vía expresiva que quedara definida bajo el marco de la figuración, el paisaje y los guiños a los grandes maestros de la pintura.
Marcos Carrasco concibe la figura humana como un receptáculo del sentir y reivindica la fuerza de esa expresión emocional en la representación pictórica de la anatomía. Pintor, ilustrador e indagador del misterio, la magia y los enigmas que conectan al arte y al ser humano, ve en los clásicos a los más altos dignatarios de captar esas incógnitas y proyectarlas en la morfología del cuerpo.

INTER_VALLUM
An INTERVAL is a difference of frequency, a lapse of time-space, a diversity of meaning when two approaches describe an analog.
Three authors who harbor the interval of history, of the essence of the classics transferred to the present, digested, reinterpreted and reconstructed: María del Carmen Díez, Enrique González and Marcos Carrasco.
Artists whose common nexus is to present us works that drink from the classics, sift through their creative universes and dialogue with the public through the human figure.
This transit between the masters and the authors of the 21st century made us consider the concept of INTER_VALLUM, an interval that reflects the diversity of meaning of narrations with the same essence, a space or distance that inhabits from one enclave to another, from one time to another, between physical, organic, human phenomena...
María del Carmen Díez proposes her works taking as a starting point a classic imaginary from the 15th and 16th centuries, with the burin as a tool, dismantling the use of the feminine in the language of art, with an emphasis on archetypes imposed on women. In his work he tackles the stereotyped and harmful approach that is repeated throughout history where an archetypal derogatory position is maintained.
Enrique González begins his career in the discipline of graphic work, researches and runs through various currents exploring various fields of art, learning that enriches his facet of compulsive reader, circumstances that will contribute to focus his expressive path that will be defined under the framework of figuration, landscape and winks to the great masters of painting.
Marcos Carrasco conceives the human figure as a receptacle of feeling and vindicates the strength of that emotional expression in the pictorial representation of anatomy. Painter, illustrator and investigator of the mystery, the magic and enigmas that connect art and the human being, he sees in the classics the highest dignitaries of capturing these unknowns and projecting them in the morphology of the body.
