OPEN CALL FOR EMERGING ARTISTS Residency: 13 August - 5 September 2019 Exhibition: 5 - 26 September 2019 Located in the midst of nature surrounded by endless forest, Nectar, in collaboration with galería àngels barcelona & On Mediation, presents its art residency program offering a community-based living and working experience for local and international emerging artists. The residency is a unique opportunity to delve into the artistic and creative process enjoying rural environment and a great opportunity to connect with Barcelona Art scene. The culmination of the residency will be an exhibition at espai2 from àngels barcelona gallery, one of the most well-known Contemporary Art Galleries in Barcelona, where the artists will present their works within the frame of Art Nou Festival. The opening will be on September 5th 2019. From an open call addressed to young curators who have attended one of the 6 editions of On Mediation (2013-2019), a curator will be chosen ... to curate the exhibition in espai2. The young curator will work from the proposals of the four resident artists, taking charge of the curatorship and the exhibition's communication and activation. ** Nectar will host 4 artists, each one with a 50% partial grant **
