| Descripción: | China House in Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, California) puts the name of an area of the city but it isn't there anymore. In Santa Ana there was a Chinatown, which was intentionally burned as a “sanitary” measure at the beginning of the 20th century. In the video China House Great Journey I connect this two places as they both give an account of the homogenizing process cities experience, regardless of the cultural multiplicity in them. |
