Alana Hernandez is a Curatorial Project Assistant at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Prior to joining the Whitney's staff she was a Curatorial Fellow at Páramo in Guadalajara (Mexico) and a Curatorial Fellow at Hunter East Harlem Gallery (New York). She has held curatorial internship at the Museum of Modern Art, the Phoenix Art Museum, and BRIC Arts Media. Hernandez received her M.A. from CUNY Hunter College where she specialized in Modern and Contemporary Latin American Art.
