Visual artist working primarily with photography and currently living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her photography practice started in 2013 during her Design undergraduate at the Escola Superior de Desenho Industrial at the Universidade do Estado Rio de Janeiro. In 2014 she spent a year at York University, in Toronto, Canada, where she developed the projects “What makes me a women?” and “That thing that happened every month”, setting the tone for artistic research, usually focused on gender, female body and experiences, race and identity in a contemporary society. She has exhibited her work in cultural spaces and events in Rio de Janeiro and had a recent interview published on the blog Women in Photography.
