Mohamed Almusibli (*1990, Geneva, Switzerland) is a curator based in Geneva. In 2019 he co-founded and directed the non-profit art space “Cherish”, together with James Bantone, Thomas Liu Le Lann, and Ser Serpas. “Cherish” hosted over 20 exhibitions, providing a platform for emerging local artists while also introducing several international artists to their first showcase in Switzerland. In 2021, he organized the Almusibli Panorama—an extensive year-long online video program for the Centre d’Art Contemporain of Geneva, which marked its conclusion with the inaugural edition of the Swiss Moving Image Award. Almusibli currently serves as a consultant for the Hartwig Art Foundation in Amsterdam. Since 2021, he has been an adjunct professor in the MFA program at ECAL - Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne.
Almusibli holds a Master of Fine Arts from the Haute Ecole d’Arts et Design, Geneva, a Bachelor of Arts and Media degree from the Zurich University of Arts, ZHdK, as well as a Bachelor of History of Art and Arabic from the Université de Genève, UNIGE.
