Rosa Ulpiano is a freelance Journalist, Art critic, independent curator & cultural communicator living in Glasgow, Scotland. Her work has appeared prints and digital media, and she is an ongoing correspondent cultural for different Magazines and newspapers. She publish a weekly page, since 1999, in the Levante-EMV newspaper, in the Cultural supplement published on Saturdays called Posdata, has published 600 or more original articles in it. She contributes to publications including Bellveser. Diario de Mallorca, Lápiz. International magazine of contemporary art, Flash Art International, El Planeta, Makma, Revista Cerámica, among others. She counts 30 books on the shelf that she has written, edited, contributed and/or published. Studied Geography and History in the University of Valencia. She worked of assitent manager in Charpa Gallery, coordinating exhibitions with works of Aurelie Nemours, Jordi Teixidor, André Derain, Robert Longo, Ray Smith, among others artists. Directed the Argenta Gallery, Sopa de Letras Gallery and has ... been worked of Communication Manager at the SALA PARPALLO - www.salaparpallo.es- (Valencia Provincial Council. Spain) 2009-2012 She has taken part in many specialist conferences, workshops and seminars in Valencia University: Has directed different conferences, specially on art urban: "De los nuevos medios al graffiti digital”: Joan Fontcuberta, Más Peinado, José Antonio Ors, Escif, Suso 33 (...) Her career under his belt that includes around 20 exhibitions curated. Among these are her exhibitions at the EACC (Castellón) "La mirada reflexiva" with contemporary works of Robert Longo, Helen Sear & Perejaume and the great master of painter: Recco, Zurbarán, Juan de Juanes and Ribera. Or the last exhibition curated at the Atarazanas (Valencia Provincial Council)"Dueñas del Arte”. She has been a founding member of ACOPAH (Association for the conservation of the historic heritage) in the University of Valencia; has published different articles, and lectures around the heritage. She is member of the AVCA (Valencia Association of art critics), she was member of the Board of Manager since 2009 until 2010.
