An unparalleled testimony to the late 20th-century history of art, the Archivio and Edizioni Conz present and preserve the archive and publishing project of Italian collector and patron Francesco Conz (Cittadella, 1935 – Verona, 2010). Housed in Berlin, the Archivio Conz holds over 3,000 works and items by more than 120 artists, while the Edizioni Conz currently bring together 300 editions by over 60 artists from the 1970s to the early 2000s. An admirer and engaged actor in the frenetic activity of the 1970s artistic avant-garde movements, Conz lived and worked alongside the Fluxus, Viennese Actionist, ZAJ, Concrete Poetry, Gorgona Group and Lettrist artists he also patroned. Driven by his firm belief in the value of the creative process, he immortalized their productions through a collection of unique artworks, documents, photographs, personal belongings, and limited editions spanning over 30 years.
