Esfíngico Frontal, organized by Germano Dushá, reflects on how universal mysteries are updated under contemporary urges. The group show departs from the enigmatic hybridism of the sphinx—half human, half beast—as a synthesis of vital, yet deeply treacherous and ambiguous, paradoxes. Gathering a comprehensive selection of works across different mediums and by artists from diverse places and backgrounds, Esfíngico Frontal embraces the inexorable problems of current ecological conditions to approach themes of paradigmatic shifts and constant transfigurations towards radical indescribability.
