Renzo Marasca :: Flores É com muito gosto que a Galeria Belo-Galsterer mostra o projeto Flores; é a terceira apresentação a solo de Renzo Marasca na nossa galeria. Numa estadia prolongada este ano em Itália, o artista criou uma série de desenhos abstratos, inspirados pelas paisagens ondulantes da sua região natal ‘Marche’, bem como das que visitou na Toscana, linhas encostadas umas às outras, que se seguem em caminhos ondulantes, sinuosos, a lápis de cor, sobre papel de arroz embebido em cera líquida. Evidenciam o trabalho que Marasca dedicou na sua obra à pesquisa formal e conceptual da ligação entre a leveza e a transparência. [En. Vs.] It is with great pleasure that the Galeria Belo-Galsterer shows the project Flores; it is the third solo presentation of Renzo Marasca in our gallery. During an extended stay in Italy this year, the artist created a series of abstract drawings, inspired by the undulating landscapes of his native region 'Marche', as well as those he visited in Tuscany, lines leaning one against another, following each other in undulating, sinuous paths, in colored pencil, on rice paper soaked in liquid wax. They show the work that Marasca has dedicated in his work to the formal and conceptual research of the connection between lightness and transparency. nota biográfica: Renzo Marasca (IT, 1977), vive e trabalha em Lisboa e Milão. Fazendo parte da nova vaga de imigrantes europeus criativos, Renzo Marasca estabeleceu-se em Lisboa há vários anos onde abriu o seu atelier, mantendo paralelamente colaborações com artistas italianos, como por exemplo com o artista Pier Paolo Calzolari (da Arte Povera), que também assentou na capital portuguesa. Marasca é profundamente interessado nas grandes questões filosóficas que movem o mundo, tanto no presente e no passado, cruzando a sua busca pelo significado das coisas com a sua prática artística, exercida diariamente no seu atelier em Lisboa. Marasca liga a teoria ao fazer manual, a história de arte ao presente, experimentando técnicas, materiais diversos para entender melhor o seu uso e aplicação relacionando-os com os conceitos por si explorados. Renzo Marasca tem apresentado o seu trabalho em galerias, museus e bienais na Alemanha, Itália e Portugal. Sua obra integra várias coleções institucionais internacionais e diversas coleções particulares. biographical note: Renzo Marasca (IT, 1977), lives and works in Lisbon and Milan. Being part of the new wave of creative European immigrants, Renzo Marasca settled in Lisbon several years ago where he opened his atelier, keeping in parallel collaborations with Italian artists, like the artist Pier Paolo Calzolari (Arte Povera), who also settled in the Portuguese capital. Marasca is deeply interested in the great philosophical questions that move the world, both in the present and in the past, crossing his search for the meaning of things with his artistic practice, exercised daily in his studio in Lisbon. Marasca connects theory with manual work, art history with the present, experimenting with techniques and diverse materials to better understand their use and application, relating them to the concepts he explores. Renzo Marasca has presented his work in galleries, museums, and biennials in Germany, Italy, and Portugal. His work is part of several international institutional collections and private collections.
