Descripción de la Exposición

"Lake Shore Drive is my new group of paintings, where I want to show a different Chicago. Here, light is the leading element for re-creating the world of mystery, beauty and emptiness that we all have inside. In these new series I made a decision to use two tubes of paint: one white - the absence of color, and the other black - the mixture of all colors. The black and white palette increases the sense of romantic perception and magic. Working with these two colors, I endeavored to work with all possible shades and variations of light and shadow that the brush could produce, with the intention to reflect not the physical reality but to evoke emotional realities." - Santana
