The Photographer Cristina Del Barco will present her last and most personal exhibition LUTO at Pandora Art Gallery in Kreuzberg, Berlin, the exhibition marks the tenth anniversary of the artist’s father’s passing, offering a poetic and deeply personal ritual of mourning. LUTO invites viewers on an introspective journey through the artist’s lens, navigating the emotional labyrinth of loss. Cristina Del Barco’s evocative images provoke deep reflection on the intricate tapestry of human experience, where pain intertwines with resilience, vulnerability coexists with strength, and darkness ultimately gives way to the transformative power of understanding and acceptance. Through 20 haunting black-and-white portraits, Del Barco explores the emotional terrain of grief and memory, using different textures as evocative metaphors of family, fragility, and resilience.
Cristina Del Barco is a Madrid-based photographer with over two decades of international exhibition history. Her work has been shown in major cultural capitals, including Chelsea Hotel (New York) and Art Basel Miami, among many others. Known for her unflinching gaze, she portrays subjects who embrace their darkness with dignity, revealing beauty, strength, and vulnerability in equal measure. Her photographs often focus on artists and underground musicians, creating cinematic, intimate portraits imbued with surrealist undertones.
Petra Flurr is a Berlin-based artist and underground icon known for his raw, genre-defying sound that blends EBM, punk, synth, and electro. He is also the founder of Sabbat Berlin, a dark queer event series that champions subculture and performative experimentation. Founder of Sabbat Berlin, Petra curates events that celebrate subculture, dark aesthetics, and radical expression.
Additionally, live performances will elevate the experience to a more sensory level.
Somnia Vera, a Greek-born, Berlin-based sound artist whose experimental performances combine noise, hypnotic beats, and dreamlike textures. Her work explores the blurred boundaries between nightmare, perception, and reality.
Lounja, an Algerian multidisciplinary artist working at the crossroads of music, performance, and video. Her politically charged solo project merges electronic textures with North African rhythms, inviting audiences into immersive ritual experiences.
