Descripción de la Exposición What can realism achieve today? Rómulo Celdrán (1973, Gran Canaria) faces this challenge and presents his fascinating drawings and sculptures. The viewer is barely able to escape the silent attraction of Rómulo Celdrán's work. On one hand we are succumbed by the amazing manual capacity and the mental virtuosity of the artist, on the other hand it seams paradox do waist such talent on the 'reproduction' of banalities. Rómulo Celdrán is dedicated to the ordinary with a admirable perseverance, intelligence and subtle humour. 'I think that the human imaginative-creative universe is built by absorption of the real image, taken in its broadest sense. the way how each artist transforms it into an object of art is what we call artistic language, and this is, as in humans, multiple and diverse. and herein lays its grandness.' Rómulo Celdrán
