abita Rezaire's interdimensional method visualises networked sciences as healing technologies, which are organic, electronic, and spiritual. Through her video installations, she reinvents contemporary technology, viewed through the lens of ancestral science, in order to re-examine our relationship with the cosmos.
Tabita Rezaire has worked for the last two years with the Behavioural Evolution Lab, led by marine biologist Alex Jordan at the Max Planck Institute. The artist's work is focused on two main areas, sustainable agriculture and video, which involves a combination of aspects that may seem unrelated or far removed at first glance.
Rezaire always relies on video as a flexible language that allows her to introduce scenes and narrative styles distinct from those of documentaries or films. This special language nearly evolves into a character that accompanies the viewer on their transformational journey.
In her first solo exhibition for TBA21 at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, Tabita Rezaire will present a new creation...that questions the different paradigms that shape and support our beliefs.
