Corinne Erni, curator of special projects at the Parrish Art Museum (Water Mill, NY), since september of 2016.
Erni (Co-Founder and Co-Director, Office New York) is a curator, catalyst, and cultural strategist who has spearheaded and branded interdisciplinary art programs. From 2010-2015, she built up the New Museum’s IDEAS CITY, a biennial arts festival that explores the future of cities with arts and culture as driving force.
As co-founder and co-director of ARTPORT_making waves, a curators’ collective dedicated to art and climate change, she co-curated biennial competitions of short art videos about global warming, Cool Stories for When the Planet Gets Hot, and traveling exhibitions such as Re-Cycles of Paradise, which explored the interconnectedness of gender and climate change and was first shown at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in 2009.
