Josée and Marc Gensollen are practicing psychiatrists based in Marseille. Marc and Josée Gensollen began collecting contemporary art in the late 1970s. Since then, they have have built up an impressive collection of conceptual art, in all its forms. Artists’ videos constitute a substantial part of their collection displayed in their converted-workshop and private home La Fabrique, in Marseille, which can be visited by appointment. Having followed LOOP for many years, they curated an exhibition from their video collection at Fundació Suñol in Barcelona in 2007. They have joined the board of the LOOP Committee in 2011.
