I am a painter and printmaker. Most of my recent work reflects my surroundings, particularly the shapes and patterns of my garden and the countryside around my home in Mallorca, Spain and in Sussex, England. The work that I make is a record of the essence of what interests me rather than an attempt at realism. I am interested in sorting and reordering these shapes , rearranging and repeating them to make a series, often a series of five.
