Founded in 2010 by Arielle d’Hauterives, the gallery displays the work of emerging or recognized artists from various and multicultural backgrounds. It is dedicated to promote and bring out the works of female artists. The eclectic taste of the owner brings about a large variety of authentic artistic processes. Arielle d’Hauterives aims to provide a platform for the unique world of more “feminine” arts, among others. “I came up with the concept for the gallery after noticing that female artists are seldom given attention or regard. The lack of visibility of female création in major artistic events tends to depreciate their ratings on the art market, and therefore their recognition in the artistic world. The market opportunities are too few for female artists who have strong character and asserted talent. A new generation of artists wants to take hold of its own fate. That’s what I want to _ght for, and the time is right to do so.”
