Roberto Polo Gallery, located in the central Sablon district of Brussels, was inaugurated in November 2012. The gallery is specialized in modern and contemporary Belgian art. In September 2014, the gallery was extended from an exhibition area of 300 m2 to 500 m2. Its Artistic Director Roberto Polo, is a reputed art historian and theorist, market trendsetter, and collector, promoting Belgian art with passion and conviction for several decades. The gallery not only exclusively represents important contemporary artists such as Carl De Keyzer, Werner Mannaers and Jan Vanriet, but also foreign ones, such as Larry Poons, Maria Roosen and Andrew Tift. It has discovered talented young artists, such as Koen De Cock and Wim Wauman, while representing the estates of two eminent Belgian contemporary artists, Karel Direickx and Marc Maet.
