BIO He studied Visual Arts in the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving “La Esmeralda” He has had diverse solo exhibitions, in Mexico and internationally, were we can nd: Objetos Necesarios [Necessary Objects] at Dot Fiftyone Gallery in Miami, Florida, Futuras Ruinas [Future Ruins] at Galería Luis Adelantado in Mexico City, Negras Tormentas [Black Storms] at the Clauselito in the Museum of Mexico City, Número Bestial [Bestial number] at the Museum Ex Teresa Arte actual, among others. Among his group exhibitions are:: Estudio de Trazo [Study of Trace], Museum of Modern Art Moderno in Mexico City, Panorámica [Panoramic] At the Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico City, Ruta Mística [Mystic Route] MARCO Museum of Contemporary Art of, Historia de A [History of A] at the Amaparo Museum in Puebla. He has been awarded with the Young Creators scholarship, by FONCA, twice, in 2007 and 2014. In 2007 he did a residence at 18th ... street Art Center in Los Angeles. In 2014 he was chosen to take part in the OMI in New York and in 2016 he was part of the Skowhegan residency. Nowadays he lives and works in Mexico City, were he is founding member and co- director of the cultural space Obrera Centro. STATEMENT The images that I make come from my own experience and connection with nature, there are also in uences of my cultural context, like the importance of rituals. All my work seems to be a story that is never completed because there is no beginning or end. It is a story that happens day by day, in constant evolution and is created continually. Therefore each painting, drawing and sculpture looks like a fragment, since they are episodes inside the same world.
